A top Australian clothes designer has launched a new rug collection as part of his expansion into the home interior market.
Sunday Life reports that leading eveningwear designer Alex Perry has created eight new rug designs for Designer Rugs aimed at architects and artists, as well as style-conscious homeowners.
“I’m enjoying it a lot,” said Mr Perry, who has designed for stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Natalie Portman and Elle Macpherson.
He added: “The rugs were a far more serene experience than fashion often is. Rugs don’t tell me they feel uncomfortable while I shoehorn them into a gown to make them look fabulous.”
